Mougins:

A quiet village 5 minutes away from Cannes and the crowded streets, with fountains, peaceful shaded square to have a drink and nice restaurants in old stone houses covered with vineyards. Mougins was the hometown of commanding officer Lamy, geographer, botanist and explorator in Sahara and Tchad end of XIXth century. He started with missions in Tonkin.  Several streets and places bear his name in Paris, Cannes and Mougins. Picasso lived in Notre Dame de Vie close to the village.
