Le Cannet a character town North of Cannes offers a nice view on Esterel hills and cape of "Aiguille". In spring mimosas flowers make yellow spots on the hills of Tanneron in the foreground. The painter Bonnard lived there thirty years painting the light abundant all year round.  A multitude of tiny restaurants stand aside of rue Saint-Sauveur. The chapel Saint-Sauveur is decorated with a fresco painted by Tobiasse a worth to be known painter. At the end of street Saint-Sauveur a house is covered with a painting "trompe l'oeil" of Peynet.
